Application:Taurolithocholic acid sodium salt is a potent bile suppressant and a potent calcium ion agonist.Taurocholic acid (TLCA) at low concentrations (5µM) tends to selectively increase the membrane-associated fraction of PKC e-isoform by 44.1%±40.2% .TLCA (10µM) selectively induces the translocation of PKCε-isoforms to the liver cell membrane, which is a key step in activating mobile PKC isoforms.Taurocholic acid (TLCA) exerts bile inhibitory effects in perfused rat liver and rat hepatocyte conjugates via a PI3K-dependent mechanism.
