9-Amino minocycline sulphate is used to Tigecycline intermediate.

The mechanism of action of tigecycline is similar to that of tetracycline antibiotics. They all bind to the 30S ribosome of bacteria to prevent the entry of transfer RNA, so that the amino acids cannot be combined into peptide chains, which ultimately blocks bacterial protein synthesis and limits bacterial growth. effect. However, the binding capacity of tigecycline to ribosomes is five times that of other tetracycline drugs. This shows that the anti-bacterial resistance of this product is superior to other tetracycline drugs. The antibacterial spectrum of tigecycline includes gram-positive bacteria, gram-negative bacteria and anaerobic bacteria. In vitro and clinical tests have shown that tigecycline is effective against some aerobic gram-negative bacteria (such as Freund's citrus Acidobacterium, Enterobacter cloacae, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella oxytoca and Klebsiella pneumoniae, Acinetobacter baumannii, Aeromonas hydrophila, Citrobacter krusei, Enterobacter aerogenes, Pasteurella multocida, Serratia marcescens, and Stenotrophomonas maltophilia are sensitive. Pseudomonas aeruginosa is resistant to tigecycline.
