5,11-dichlorotricyclo[8.2.2.2~4,7~]hexadeca-1(12),4,6,10,13,15-hexaene is a useful research chemical. 4,16-dichloro<2.2>paracyclophane can be used in electronic chemicals and biological agents, etc. 5,11-Dichlorotricyclo(8.2.2.24,7)hexadeca-4,6,10,12,13,15-hexaene can be analyzed by this reverse phase (RP) HPLC method with simple conditions. The mobile phase contains an acetonitrile (MeCN), water, and phosphoric acid. For Mass-Spec (MS) compatible applications the phosphoric acid needs to be replaced with formic acid. Smaller 3 µm particles columns available for fast UPLC applications. This liquid chromatography method is scalable and can be used for isolation impurities in preparative separation.
