Cuprous bromide is a white powder or cubic crystal with melting point of 498℃ and boiling point of 1345℃. Soluble in hydrochloric acid, hydrobromic acid and ammonia to form complex, slightly soluble in cold water, decomposition in hot water, nitric acid, insoluble in propyl ester and concentrated sulfuric acid. Cuprous bromide is an important chemical raw material, which can be used in color photography, laser preparation, chemical and chemical reagents, catalysts in organic synthesis, pigments, reducing agents in dye industry and used in battery, electroplating and pharmaceutical industries. Cuprous bromide should be stored in dry nitrogen or argon and stored in a cool and shaded place. Used for color photography and batteries. Used as organic reaction catalyst and nylon stabilizer. Used as raw material for organic synthesis and reaction catalyst, etc.
