Soluble in hydrochloric acid, hydrobromic acid and ammonia to form complex, slightly soluble in cold water, decomposition in hot water, nitric acid, insoluble in propyl ester and concentrated sulfuric acid. Cuprous bromide is an important chemical raw material, which can be used in color photography, laser preparation, chemical and chemical reagents, catalysts in organic synthesis, pigments, reducing agents in dye industry and used in battery, electroplating and pharmaceutical industries.
