Trifluoroacetic acid palladium(II) salt catalyzes the selective allyl oxidation of geraniyl a-cetone and other alkenes to produce the corresponding acryl acetate, which can be converted to ketol. 1.0.3g palladium acetate (Ⅱ) was dissolved in 15mL trifluoroacetic acid and evaporated in a steam bath. After drying, about 7mL trifluoroacetic acid was added to evaporate again. The residue is dried under vacuum at 40℃ to produce a brown powder.
