[1,1'-Bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene]dichloropalladium(II) is used as a catalyst for Suzuki and Stile couplings. 1,1' -bis (diphenylphosphine) ferrocene palladium dichloride II is widely used as catalyst in organic chemical industry, pharmaceutical chemical industry and liquid crystal synthesis. [1,1' -bis (diphenylphosphine) ferrocene] palladium dichloride (PDCl2 (DPPF)) is mainly used as catalyst for cross coupling reactions. Similar to other Pd(II) and Ni(ChemicalbookII) complexes, PDCl2 (DPPF) can effectively catalyze the cross-coupling reaction between halogenated olefin, halogenated aromatics or trifluoromethylsulfonic acid aromatics and Grieger's reagent to realize the formation of carbon-carbon bonds.
