Liranaftate is a new third generation thiocarbamate antifungal drug, which belongs to squalene cyclooxygenase inhibitor. It inhibits the epoxidation of squalene in fungal cell membrane, hinders the synthesis of ergosterol, which is the component of cell membrane. The antifungal activity of liranatelate is 8 times higher than that of tropin ester, and the effect of pulling dermatophyte is better than clotrimazole.
