It is mainly used in the preparation of chocolate, coffee, meat and nuts and other flavors. The determination was performed with the polar column method in gas chromatography (GT-10-4). 2, 6-dimethylpyrazine was separated from 2, 5-dimethylpyrazine by condensation polymerization of 1, 2-diaminopropane using a chromatographic column.
