Application

It is the intermediate of Torasemide.It is used as a diuretic.Diuretics are drugs that act on the kidneys to increase electrolyte and water excretion and increase urine volume. According to its action strength can be divided into:

·Powerful diuretics (active diuretics) : mainly include furosemide, bumetanil, etanic acid, etc.

·Medium effect diuretics: including thiazide diuretics, such as hydrochlorothiazide, benzyl fluthiazide, etc.

·Low efficiency diuretics: including potassium diuretic spirolactone, amphenopterin, and carbonic anhydrase inhibitor acetazolamide.

·Strong diuretic agents act on the medullary part of the coarse ascending branch of the medullary cord, inhibiting the active reabsorption of chlorine, and then inhibiting the reabsorption of sodium, thus exerting a strong diuretic effect.
