Application
4-cyanoperidine hydrochloride is used as a research compound.
Preparation:
11.9g[75.7mmol] dibutylformamide (99%) was added to 10g[75.7mmol] 4-piperidinium formamide (97%) in a 50ml n-propyl acetate suspension at 20℃ for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, 18.91g[158.9mmol] of thionyl chloride was added at 20 ° C. The addition takes 45 minutes, where the temperature is kept constant at 20℃. After addition, stir the mixture at 20 ° C for another 18 hours. Filter the suspension and wash the filter residue with n-propyl acetate. After drying, 8.55g colorless solid remains. By quantitative NMR analysis, the content of 4-cyanoperidine hydrochloride was 95% (weight/weight). The calculated yield is 73% of the theoretical value.
