Application:
Pirarubicin (THP), also known as doxorubicin pyranoides, belongs to the anthracycline class of antibiotics. The mechanism of the anti-cancer effect of pirarubicin is: the rapid insertion of DNA nucleic acid base pairs in the nucleus interferes with the transcription process, prevents mRNA synthesis, inhibits DNA polymerase activity, and thus interferes with DNA synthesis. Chemicalbook Pirorubicin has a broader spectrum and stronger anti-tumor effect than adriamycin. Its main mechanism is to enter the cell quickly, embed the double helix chain of DNA, inhibit DNA polymerase α and β, prevent nucleic acid synthesis, and stop the tumor cells in the G2 phase, unable to carry out cell division, resulting in tumor cell death.
