Levocetirizine was marketed in February 2001 as a third-generation anti-allergy drug. Since it is the levo-spin of cetirizine, its pharmacological action is similar to that of cetirizine, and it is mainly used for the treatment of allergic diseases in respiratory system, skin and eyes.
