Betastastine mesylate is a commonly used clinical drug with definite effect. As a vasodilator, it is a derivative of histamine and has similar chemical structure and pharmacological properties to histamine. It is a weak agonist of histamine H1 receptor, but has no effect on histamine H2 receptor, and is a strong agonist of histamine H3 receptor. Therefore, it can selectively act on the histamine H1 receptor and dilate the anterior capillary Chemicalbook vasculature dilator muscle, thereby increasing the blood flow to the vascular microcirculation.
