Pomalidomide is a thalidomide derivative, a potent inhibitor of TNF-α production. It is an antiinflammatory and antitumor agent used in the treatment of multiple myeloma. Pomalidomide is an immuno-modulator drug (IMID) developed by Celgene, Inc. in the United States. It is a synthetic drug modified on the basis of the chemical structure of the first generation IMID, which was developed by Celgene. It can enhance the immune response mediated by T cells and natural killer cells, inhibit the generation of pro-inflammatory cytokines in monocytes, and induce tumor cell apoptosis. It has been widely concerned in the treatment of various malignant tumors and immune diseases. Pomadomide, chemically named 4-amino-2 - (2, 6-dioxy-p-iperidine-3-yl) -isodihydroindole-1, 3-dione, is a thalidomide analogram and an immunomodulator with anti-tumor activity. Chemicalbook can inhibit the proliferation and induce apoptosis of hematopoietic tumor cells in in vitro cytology tests. In addition, pomadomide inhibited the proliferation of lenalidomine-resistant multiple myeloma cell lines and induced apoptosis of tumor cells in lenalidomine-sensitive and lenalidomine-resistant cell lines in collaboration with dexamethasone.
