Carcinine dihydrochloride is a benzylamine derivative produced by the reaction of malic acid with dehydroascorbic acid. It has anti-aging, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, protective and sunscreen properties. It also protects against premature aging, UV-induced damage and apoptosis.
